On behalf of the kids in your care and the board members of PFCCA, we would like to say THANK YOU for applying! It takes strength and courage to continue your quest of becoming a Child Care Professional! 

Open Board Positions

President - 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the association

  • Maintain compliance with grant requirements and report to funding sources as necessary.

  • Maintain compliance with Federal, state and local requirements for operation of non-profit organization.

  • Delegate responsibility to all committee chairpersons.

  • Review the work of the committees and offer support as necessary.

  • Appoint committee chairpersons as necessary.

  • Preside at group meetings.

Vice President - 

Responsibilities:

  • Acts on behalf of the president when necessary.

  • Oversees board and chapter trainings with chapter liasion's advice. 

  • Assists chapter directors in providing education opportunities for the chapter members.

  • Works closely with the state Child Care Resource and Referral agencies to have current information about their mentoring programs.

  • Works directly with the conference committee to help provide educational  workshops at annual conference.

Chapter Liaison -  

Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with chapter directors and secretaries.

  • Reports chapter meeting schedules to website editor for placement on calendar.

  • Updates the Executive Board with Chapter Reports. .  

  • Actively promotes and educates on CDA and NAFCC accreditation.

Secretary - 

Responsibilities:

  • Records and distributes the minutes of each meeting.

  • Maintains a file of all Executive Board and chapter meetings.

  • Compile and deliver an agenda for all Executive Board meetings.

Membership Representative -

Responsibilities:

  • Keeps membership list current.

  • Sends out renewal notices.

  • Mails new member packets.

Treasurer 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with grant requirements and report to funding sources as necessary.

  • Maintain compliance with Federal, state and local requirements for operating a non-profit organization.

  • Handle all financial matters and maintain accurate funding records.

  • Compile board members' individual proposed budgets and prepare a yearly association budget.

Newsletter Editor

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the newsletter
