Kristy has been advocating for and working with children for the past 21 years since taking a job working at a local crisis center while in college.  Since that time Kristy has worked as a social worker, a family childcare provider, and a trainer for those working with young children.  She has served on many volunteer boards and recently earned her Master’s Degree in Professional Communication.
